ATSB

This is a collaborative project among 3 countries (Kenya, Zambia and Mali). The project aims to assess a novel tool that can protect people from malaria vectors when they are outdoors. The active ingredient in the ATSB is referred as ‘Dinotefuran’. Therefore, the overall objective is to evaluate the effect of Dinotefuran-laden attractive targeted sugar baits (ATSBs) on sugar feeding and mortality rates of Anopheles mosquitoes both in the laboratory, semi-field and in rural villages of Western Province, Zambia.
