Christopher Book has provided long-standing administrative and institutional support to Macha Research Trust.
His experience includes oversight and support in administration, human resources, accounts, information technology, maintenance, hospitality and institutional projects.
As Administrative Adviser, he continues to provide valuable administrative guidance and institutional support to the Trust, helping ensure that organisational operations effectively support research activities.
Administrative & Institutional Experience
Christopher Book was born and raised in Zimbabwe and has lived and worked in Zambia for many years. He has been associated with Macha Research Trust for more than a decade.
During his time at Macha Research Trust, he has provided oversight and support across several important institutional functions, including maintenance, vehicles, hospitality, accounts, human resources, information technology and building projects.
His administrative responsibilities have supported the efficient operation of the institution and helped ensure that research programmes can proceed with the necessary organisational and operational support.
He has also contributed to long-term institutional planning and sustainability and has served as Secretary to the Macha Research Trust Board of Directors.
Paxton Ministries
Executive Director | 1987–2010
Prior to his work at Macha Research Trust, Christopher Book served as Executive Director of Paxton Ministries, where he provided organisational leadership and oversight of housing and services for low-income adults with emotional and mental health challenges.
His responsibilities included leadership of staff, organisational operations and oversight of institutional resources and governance.
